As part of this project, the 5th grade students will be making clay fish tiles that will be included in the mural design. Each student will create their own unique fish using various tools and common objects to texturize the clay.
Here, two of our students are making some "test fish" to help us organize our fish-making workshops.
Thanks to our 5th grade teachers, Mrs. Cabot, Mrs. Marland & Mrs. Vallejos, and our art teacher, Mrs. Andrew, the students will be making their fish during a school day this Fall.
